Our Resource Library has a unique range of communication aids, switch access toys, switches and other media which encompasses items designed to address every stage of life and level of difficulty.

The purchase of a communication device can be a costly exercise, whether self-funded or not, and it is very important to make sure that your (or someone else's) money is not spent in error. Likewise, children everywhere grow tired of toys which were once favourites; when those toys are specially adapted, the cost of replacement can be daunting.

The Find A Voice Resource Library allows you to borrow up to four items from our range for a six week loan period. The service is completely free of charge; although if you feel that you would like to make a donation when you borrow things that is fine. You will need to bring some ID with you when joining the library. If you would like to keep items a little longer to fully assess their suitability, we are happy to let you do this providing that someone else is not waiting for it.

High-tech aids are usually only loaned with the involvement of a Speech and Language Therapist, as the process of assessment and familiarisation is much more complex.

Our Library Catalogue is easily downloaded and has both pictures and descriptions of most items. The catalogue has been separated into different areas to enable you to download the resources that are of interest. If you need more information about any of the items held in our library, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

You can access our resources by visiting us at our Centre in Ashford or at one of our outreach locations. If you see something in our catalogues that you would like to borrow, please contact us to reserve the item.
