The Quiz Night at Wyvern School was a great success with 14 teams taking part.
The overall winners, team Phoenix were appropriately teachers from Wyvern who finished with a well rounded 100 points!
The evening raised just over £300, which was a great effort from all who came along to support us—Thank you!
Our lovely Outreach Development Manager, Marian has been busy loaning and delivering equipment all over Kent and in to East Sussex and parts of London. We have lent out 269 pieces of equipment since last May, supported 177 children and young people and 32 adults. We have lent equipment to parent/carers, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Children’s Assessment Centres, Schools, Nurseries, Stroke Association, United Response and other support services for adults.
‘Romford Pele’ comes to Ashford!
Another fabulous night for Find a Voice!
Ray Parlour certainly did not disappoint . His entertaining anecdotes about fellow Arsenal & England Team mates had even me (a Chelsea supporter) in hysterics!
Ray was more than happy to chat to individuals, sign memorabilia and help us with the raffle and auction. The evening raised an amazing £1300 on the night and is also being match-funded by Barclays for another £850!
Thank you to all who came along and supported Find a Voice, especially Joe Washington whose charity the Daisy Washington Memorial Fund donated a signed shirt from the Escape to Victory Film. And special mention to our photographer Brian Marsh.
